The Spring Showcase brings a fresh perspective on the contemporary art scene in the Utah Valley.
The power of this exhibition lies in the repetition of certain themes that were developed through each student's independent work, exploring and revealing values that reflect the diverse zeitgeist of Provo, Utah.
Together, the themes explored in the show represent a broad understanding and reaction to beauty, and an attempt to reconcile experimentalism in conceptual art with a more traditional approach to composition, color, and form.
